There’s something special happening in Fairford. At the heart of our town, three pillars of the community—Fairford Rugby Club, Fairford Youth Football Club, and Farmor’s School—have come together with a shared vision: to build a state-of-the-art astroturf pitch that will serve the whole town, for generations to come.
This project is more than just a playing surface. It’s a symbol of unity, resilience, and the power of local people coming together for the greater good. From grassroots volunteers to school leaders, parents, players, and coaches—everyone is playing their part. Fundraisers are being planned, businesses are stepping forward to help, and a shared sense of pride is sweeping across Fairford.
In a time when rural communities often face cuts and compromises, Fairford is doing the opposite. We’re galvanising, driven by the belief that sport is for everyone—whatever your age, background, or ability. This new facility will be a place where boys and girls train side-by-side, where walking rugby and football thrive, where rain no longer stops play, and where memories are made.
Together, we are creating more than a pitch—we are building a legacy.
This is Fairford at its best: united, ambitious, and unstoppable.
